To all Borough of West Wildwood Residents,
Saturday November 6, 2010 before we all go to bed, everyone will change the time on their clocks and watches one hour back for the end of “Daylight Savings”. While all are doing so, I would like everyone to take the time to check their smoke detectors, and their carbon monoxide detectors. Please change the batteries in each as well. Those that are unable to check these life safety devices please feel free to contact me and the West Wildwood Vol. Fire Department, will come out and do so for you. Older residents that live in an owner occupied unit or single family home, may inquire about a free smoke detector from our department. Again please take this time to check these items, so that all can have some comfort during the Winter Season.
The West Wildwood Vol. Fire Department has a website and has information on Carbon Monoxide. Please take a moment to check out this important and if you need to, please print it out. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your continuing support to our department. We are grateful to be a part of and protect this great community.
Yours in Fire Safety,
William Cripps, Fire Chief
West Wildwood Fire Department
